So we’ve been working hard lately to make this site a bit more functional and resourceful. So far we’ve implemented a few things, and we’ve got a few more to go. So far we’ve got:
- A mailing list! You can sign up right there on the right to cop our monthly newsletter, which is packed with reviews for local gigs and albums, as well as interviews, news about upcoming events, and a gig guide.
- Our zines! We only print 500 copies of each issue of SHAMZINE, so we’ve made back-issues available to view and download free in the ZINES section of the site. You can even print ‘em out yourself.
- A proper and fairly comprehensive up-to-date gig-guide! It’s hanging out in the sidebar, but is also accessible from the GIGS tab.
- Our Twitter feed down the right hand side of the page. You can easily subscribe from there, too.
And yet to come:
- Loads of the zine content, including CD and gig reviews and interviews.
- Photo galleries! Constantly updated galleries of recent gigs and events.
- Submission forms for gigs, reviews, or whatever.
- Tighter podcast integration. You’ll be able to easily download the podcast via iTunes, or directly from this site.
- A bunch of aesthetic adjustments that are probably best left to a pro.
